Founded by Emi Hillman, our 5-star rated studio was created with a vision to move away from the stuffy, old-fashioned idea of music education. Alongside a dynamic team of passionate, highly skilled teachers, we blend strong musical foundations with a fresh, contemporary and inspirational approach that puts students at the heart of everything we do - an ethos that underpins our work as an award-winning studio.

Our students shine at recitals, concerts, music festivals, regularly achieving Merits and Distinctions in exams, while embracing wide and diverse repertoires. We’re also actively involved in community outreach programmes with local schools and care homes, sharing the joy of music far and wide.

A sustainable studio

At Emi Piano Studio, we’re proud to uphold ethical, sustainable practices and are always looking for ways to reduce waste. Sustainability isn’t just a trend for us, it’s part of how we run our studio with care and responsibility.

We prioritise digital music sheets and resources wherever possible to reduce waste and stay organised.‍
Using a guest list check-in system for recitals - no printed tickets. Printing only what’s necessary, like recital programmes.
‍At studio events, we use recycled paper cups, plates, and wooden stirrers wherever possible.
All studio policy agreements are signed digitally.
