Emi’s musical journey began at age 5, trained at Yamaha Music Malaysia and through private lessons. She completed ABRSM Grades 2, 3, and 4 in just 12 months, eventually achieving Grade 8 and performing at numerous concerts and festivals.
After earning an LLB Law (Hons) from Coventry University, Emi spent over two decades building a successful career across financial services and energy sectors in London's square mile. But her deep-rooted passion for music led to the founding of Emi Piano Studio - a thriving creative space that maintains a 100% ABRSM success rate, with students performing confidently at recitals, concerts, and music festivals, and demand for lessons continues to grow.
Today, Emi blends her classical training with modern innovation and corporate discipline to help others discover the joy and power of music. The studio is redefining how students learn piano - breaking away from rigid, traditional methods to offer a dynamic, joyful learning experience. By combining time-tested techniques with cutting-edge technology, Emi gives students the best of both worlds: a solid musical foundation and an engaging, contemporary approach. The result? Outside the studio, she enjoys cycling, hiking, theatre, travel, world history, and cooking - passions that fuel her creativity and love for music.
